Poem 2nd John
In dedication , truth, and Love,
We follow the Divine up above,
An ode to the book of 2nd John,
Let us embark , let us go on.
Once walked the Elder, devoted and wise,
To the chosen lady and her children, he ties,
In truth and love, that from God flows,
This is the path that every Christian knows.
Love one another, as commanded from start,
A decree that's written in every heart,
To walk in His commandments, the ultimate aim,
His love, a light, an eternal flame.
Deceivers are many, who deny Jesus the Christ,
With their teachings and falsehoods, they entice,
Beware of such, hold fast to what's true,
In Christ's teachings, you shall renew.
Everlasting joy in the truth we share,
In the love of Jesus, beyond compare,
A communion in love, that's our part,
Echoing in the chambers of our heart.
So, abide in His teaching, hold it dear,
With Christ in heart, there's nothing to fear,
Grace, mercy, peace, in truth and love,
Blessings bestowed from the Father above.
